Happy New Year! We are Rose Parade fans and are lucky to live close to the parade route and near where the Fiesta Floats are built. Every year we watch them create some of the floats that will be in the parade. This was a banner year for pets on floats in the parade! We’re so excited to tell you our 5 Top Rose Parade DOG Floats this year!
It was a beautiful day Wednesday in Pasadena and the best year yet for pets (both in flowers and live pets) in the Rose Parade. #3 – The K9s4COPS float – with a humungous German Shepherd K9 “Protecting” us All!
#2 – Adopt A Shelter Pet – The Beverly Hills Pet Care Foundations float – Beautiful!
#1 – The LUCY’S FOUNDATION’S PERFORMING RESCUE DOGS! – These dogs were rescued from shelters across the country and trained to perform. They entertained everyone with their special feats while the float was moving down the parade route! It was a big, beautiful float made with colorful flowers!
We wish you could see them in person – and smell them too – so sweet!
