Celebrating the day of love and caring, Valentine’s Day, is another opportunity to talk about pets.  Show the kids how to cut out hearts and turn them into Valentines that look like pets – cats, dogs, fish – you can probably come up with lots of ideas for “pet” valentines.

Here are some cute kitties made from heart shapes that we found on the net. One big upside down heart for the face, 2 hearts for ears and one for the nose.
