Interesting developments to report for people with pets who are looking for new apartments! Several stories hit the internet this week promoting city apartment rentals that not only welcome pets, they offer amazing amenities for them to attract pet parents!

Instead of the usual “No Pets Allowed” signs or huge cleaning deposits, they post offerings announcing they have in-house   grooming salons or do-it-yourself dog baths. There are dog parks, dog runs, even water parks for dogs. In a couple cases there was even a veterinarian located close by or in one of the ground floor shops. Some of the larger apartment complexes even offer a pet concierge that can locate pet sitters, pet hotels, pet stores, pet spas, and everything pet! Apartment buildings in downtown Minneapolis seem to be one of the leaders of this trend. They say that people that “dote” on their pets are good renters. Things they are a-changin’ – for the better!
