Human-Animal Bonding

No doubt about it, when our family gets together, one of the main topics of discussion is the pets. With 2, soon to be 3, horses; 4 dogs, 2 cats and a bunny, there are more pets than people in the core family now. They are not only “topics of discussion,” they’re the fun in our lives, the comfort we need when we’re alone, the focus of many of our activities, the keepers of the family secrets and one of the strongest bonds that hold our family close together.

As a matter of fact, as I’m writing this post, I just got a text with a picture of one of the cats in her new basket bed. It only took almost a month for her to try it out!

Pets are not only part of our family, they’re a very important part of the family.
