The New Horse Pet Drama Continues

After passing the acceptance test, Biscuit is down in the meadow for a few weeks at a corral of a neighbor. Pippa is still unhappy that he’s not in the back  yard stable but friendly lab Tuesday is keeping her busy coaxing her to chase and play together. Mariposa, the Andalusian horse, isn’t adjusting to the new horse as quickly as we expected. There’s sort of a tolerance standoff going on in the yard.

In the meantime, Biscuit Ready to go Ridingdown in the meadow, the neighbors who are temporarily keeping Biscuit seem to have grown to like him a lot – very quickly!  That’s not too surprising. He’s a gorgeous auburn mustang with a laid back personality. Nothing bothers him and he’s very affectionate. But we were very surprised to find that since last week they built him his own little wooden stable with a place to keep his hay dry! It’s so cute. It looks like a play house with wooden cut outs shaped like horses on the front.  Oh my goodness! Maybe he’ll like it so well he won’t want to come back! Yes, it’s true we’re nuts about our pets.
