Dundee Arrives 71114The third horse in the family is a Missouri Fox Trotter. Right now he’s at home with the Andalusian. He’s a beautiful, easy going, strong horse that’s dependable and great for trail riding or working, whatever you need. They are known as “the horse for all situations.”

Fox Trotters have 3 gaits. One is a walk, another a canter and the 3rd has 4 steps, like a fox trot. It’s really pretty to watch. Fox Trotters come in all colors and have long manes and long tails. He’s a buckskin color with black mane and tail – very handsome. Last week his tail was so long it was about to touch the ground so he had to have a hair cut!  “Mr. Fox”, like the mustang, gets along well with horses and people and is a pleasure in our little herd of three, well almost four! Next month the Lusitano pony comes home! Right now she’s still living with her mother in Northern Cal. There will be some more juggling for stall space, musical stalls again! Stay tuned.
