Teaching Kids to Love Pets

That means parents need to expose kids to the benefits of pets during their childhood so they have the opportunity to bond with them. Even if a household can’t have a pet there are hundreds of ways to expose kids to pets in a positive way. Reading books, seeing movies, watching internet videos about different animals, visiting neighborhood pets, trips to the zoo or pet store, taking towels or blankets to the local shelter are just a few.
