Do You Cook With Your Kids – For Pets?

Kids love to cook! – a simple way to start cooking with kids is to make treats for your pets! The CrazyCD&BDcooking Kids Guide to Cooking for Your Pet ( http://amzn.to/1ymiob2) has a great beginners recipe that both kids and pets can share!  HUSH PUPPIES are great for getting booth kids and pets to “quiet down.” All it takes is equal parts peanut butter and oatmeal, quick oats or regular. Mix together, roll into balls and put in the freezer for about 4 hours. Its a good time to teach kids about washing their hands, etc. too. Serve to kids or pups on warm days for a refreshing treat. Of course, kids should be sure to lick the utensils and mixing bowl and eat a couple before freezing, just to make sure they are mixed well enough! And, well, you know what eating peanut butter is like! Funny! Prepare for grins and giggles!
