Since kids seem to get bored when they’re not in school, we list special days for both kids and pets – and hopefully our kids will use their imaginations to figure out how to share the the day with their pets! One special day for “hot dogs” is July 18th. It’s purpose is to promote eating hot dogs – which we all enjoy – even some of our pets like them!  But we also like to use this day to remind everyone NOT to leave their pets in a “hot” car because they heat up so fast and can be deadly. In fact, let’s just not leave pets – or kids – in cars at all. Enjoy the summer! Happy 4th!
