If you’re on your way to Grandma’s house today and taking your pet, remember to buckle them up – in a crate, carrier, birdcage or pet seat belt. Please don’t let them hang out the window like this little guy, too many pets manage to jump out of car windows, which very rarely has a happy ending.

If everyone remains calm, it’s likely they will settle down and be calm too. Be sure to keep them hydrated and give them time to do their business. Don’t forget to take their own food with you. Dogs are kind of famous for jumping on the table to get the Thanksgiving turkey, but it’s not the best thing for them to eat – not to mention it upsets Grandma a lot!

One more thing. No matter how much they beg, we recommend that you do NOT let them drive! (LOL)
